What is Film Still?

Film Still relights your photo like a scene from a movie: a soft key light on your face, teal in the shadows, warm skin tones and a gentle horizontal flare.

It’s the color grading used in films, applied to the photo you already have.

Works best on

  • Street and outdoor portraits
  • Photos with depth behind you
  • Close-ups with glasses or interesting light

How to get Film Still

  2. Choose a photo you already have. One with your face clearly visible works best.
  3. Flashley relights it and checks it still looks like you. It takes about half a minute.
  4. Slide to compare, set the effect strength, and save it in full quality.

Film Still questions

Will Film Still change my face?

No. Film Still changes the light and keeps your face, pose and place. Every result is compared with your original before you see it, and one that doesn’t look like you is never shown or counted.

Can I make Film Still subtler?

Yes. Every AI photo has an effect slider, so you can keep just a hint of Film Still or take all of it. Flashley saves exactly what you choose.

How much does Film Still cost?

Flashley is free to download, and each iPhone gets one free AI preview. Full-quality photos in Film Still and every other look come with Flashley Plus, from $6.99 a week in the US. Prices differ by country.
